This especially becomes a problem now because of all the different areas of our life.โฃ

Are starting to blend together under one roof. โฃ
โฃ
With schools getting canceled and gyms being closed... โฃ
โฃ
Your home is now your office... your gym... a home school for the kids...โฃ

And if you don't have a way to separate them and a way for you to show up differently for each of these areas...โฃ

You will unconsciously default back to your at-home, lazy self. ย โฃ

So what can you do to ensure that you still show up powerfully in all areas of life...โฃ

In a time where all areas of your life seem like one big blob? โฃ

You need to do something I call...โฃ

"Neuralizing" Your Environment.โฃ

What the heck does that mean?โฃ

Neuralizing is the process of associating an Identity...โฃ

With some external or internal trigger...โฃ

So that Identity can instantly show up upon activation. โฃ

This may sound new.. but you've actually been doing this unconsciously your entire life.โฃ

Every time you go to the gym, that is an external trigger for you to show up to workout.. as an athlete... as a warriorโฃ

Every time you step into the office, that is also a trigger for you to show up as the CEO... the leader.. the manager... โฃ

So when Neuralize your environment at home...โฃ

You set up physical/mental triggers around the house...โฃ

Because our brains are association machines. โฃ

It likes to connect different things in our lives together so it uses up less energy and bandwidth.โฃ

This is why when you associate a certain trigger with an Identity...โฃ

Your brain will use up less energy to get you into that Identity...โฃ
โฃ
Then it would if you depended on willpower.. motivation... or self-discipline to do it.โฃ

So what are some things you can do to start Neuralizing? โฃ
โฃ

#1) Clothes.โฃ


This is the easiest way to get started. โฃ

If you wake up and start going about your day in your PJ's... โฃ

Your brain has already associated your PJ's with sleep and relaxation..โฃ

So by keeping them on...โฃ
โฃ
You will automatically be showing up in a state of sleep and relaxation without even realizing it.. โฃ
โฃ
One thing that I do in the morning is this:โฃ
โฃ
The moment I get out of bed...โฃ
โฃ
I immediately change into clothes I'd usually wear to go into the office. โฃ
โฃ
I do this because my brain has already been training to associate my work clothes with productivity... leadership... relentlessness. โฃ
โฃ
So by changing into clothes that have already been neuralized...โฃ
โฃ
It allows me to show up in that way... INSTANTLY โฃ

#2 Trinketsโฃ
โฃ

In my home office...โฃ
โฃ
I have Steve Job's biography next to my deskโฃ
โฃ
This reminds me to step into my creative and innovative self every time I sit down to write or coach. โฃ
โฃ
In my living room...โฃ
โฃ
I have 20-lb dumbbells and a copy of Kobe's book "The Mamba Mentality" in the middle of the room.โฃ
โฃ
Which allows me to step into my inner mamba for my at-home workout.โฃ
โฃ
Both these clothes and trinkets allow me to not only separate the different areas of life...โฃ
โฃ
It also allows me to be more intentional with all my actions and way of being. โฃ
โฃ
So how can you do TODAY to apply this concept? โฃ

[1] Choose ONE area of life (Health, Career, Relationship) to focus on.โฃ
โฃ
[2] Choose ONE Identity to show up as for that area of life (Confident, Courageous, Unstoppable). โฃ

[3] Choose ONE item to lock in the association (Clothes or Trinket)โฃ
โฃ
