How To Overcome Impostor Syndrome

How To Overcome Impostor Syndrome
Impostor syndrome is actually a GOOD THING (here's why)

Most people have experienced imposter syndrome.

Regardless of your past successes, you might still sometimes feel like an impostor.

You feel like you aren't good or experienced enough

You feel like you don't belong

You feel like a fraud.

This is especially true when you are trying to start a business or advance in your career.

And the mistake that people make with impostor syndrome is that they see it as a problem.

They view it as an enemy. An obstacle. A wall.

And because of that, they need to find a way to solve that problem. Overcome that obstacle. Or break that wall to do the thing that gets them to the next level.

But what if imposture isn't a problem?

What if it's a normal thing?

What if impostor syndrome is actually a GOOD THING

As it serves as an indicator that you are not settling and growing.

When you see imposture syndrome as not being a real problem

You are able to still do the work despite feeling like an impostor.

People think that successful people don't deal with imposture syndrome

But the truth is they do. We all do.

The only difference is that they see it as normal.

They expect it.

They know it's a natural feeling and act despite the fear of not being good enough or not feeling qualified.

They've learned how to deal with it not let it stop them from doing what needs to get done

It is normal to feel not good enough or not ready as you advance to the next level.

That doesn't mean something is wrong with you.

It means that you are human.

We make the mistake of trying to solve impostor syndrome by DOING more.

More work.

More experience.

More certifications.

But the source of imposter syndrome always comes from within.

No amount of outside sources can solve it.

It is not about what you know or do.

But rather what you THINK and FEEL about it.

The problem isn't that you need to do or be more to feel ready

But rather to be okay with where you are right now and move forward from there.

Accept where you are today without judgment.

Know where it is that you want to go.

And carve a path there, regardless of fear, judgment, or insecurities.

Don't let the fear of not being good enough cause you to procrastinate or avoid opportunities.

Don't allow other people's journeys to force you to compete with yourself

Or make you feel like you need to be better.

It's normal for fear as you advance to the next level,

It's normal to feel like an impostor when you do or try something you've never done before.

Don't let it stop it from doing what needs to get done.

You are not your thoughts.

You are whoever you choose to be.

Choose to be the person worthy of your desires.

And in doing so, you will attract everything you ever wanted.
